Whether during the isolation of COVID-19 quarantine or just every day loneliness, mental health concerns, a lack of connection, and more, often people may feel isolated and alone without anywhere to turn. The “HomeAlone” component of the “HomeSafeHome” program is simply another available option to help reach out into your community across jurisdictions to offer outreach and resources to those who may be struggling.

Just like the “HomeSafeHome” program which focuses on personal violence and safety at home, “HomeAlone” uses the same technique - a recognizable logo and information sheets that can be modified for local and/or national resources by users for use across all electronic platforms. The goal is to increase access of resources that are already in place to those who may not always be ready to research help on their own.
